OTH Kids Club Volunteers Connect With Seniors at St. Andrew's Senior Care
OTH Kids Club partnered with St. Andrew's Senior Care (Tampines Central) during the June 2026 school holidays, giving young volunteers and their parents a meaningful opportunity to connect with seniors in the community. The intergenerational programme brought children and seniors together through shared activities and conversation.
Activities and Companionship
Volunteers engaged seniors through conversations, serving lunch, bracelet making, puzzles, and colouring activities. The hands-on sessions brought smiles and companionship to the seniors while the young participants learned the values of empathy, respect, and active citizenry.
Friendships Across Generations
The programme fostered friendships across generations, with young volunteers demonstrating kindness through simple acts of care. The collaboration highlighted the importance of community connection and intergenerational bonding.
OTH Kids Club thanked St. Andrew's Senior Care for partnering on the initiative and recognised all young volunteers for making a positive difference in the community. Follow @standrewsseniorcare for more on their programmes and services.
